Email, SMS, and E-SIGN consent — how we write you, and how you stop it.
E-SIGN
If you apply, send a statement, or ask us to work a file, you agree we may send related notices electronically — to the email or mobile number you gave — and that an electronic copy is a writing. You can withdraw consent for future electronic notices by emailing legal@theplacetoshoplocal.com. Withdrawing consent does not cancel a processor agreement you already signed with someone else.
Transactional mail (a rate review, a ticket, a privacy reply) is not marketing. Marketing mail, if we send it, includes an unsubscribe. We do not sell the list.
Chat and schedule
Site HQ chat and schedule run through Jetpack — not a published phone line, not WhatsApp, not a short-code program. If you started a thread there, we reply there. A future SMS campaign, if we ever run one, will collect TCPA consent separately and will not be buried in these terms.
Recordings
We do not record voice calls as a default. If a call is recorded, you will be told at the start.
