WHERE MERCHANTS ARE

Get started

Pick your rate. Start this week.

Three ways to run it. Cash discount — a posted card price and cash price, with your processing built into the rate you pick. Traditional interchange‑plus. Or the surcharge model. Same speed whichever you choose.

Step one

Choose your card-price rate.

Not sure which fits? Tell us your monthly card volume and we’ll show the math for each rate in writing — before you sign anything.

Traditional pricing — Interchange + 0.50% + 10¢

Rather keep it off the receipt entirely? You pay the card brands’ published wholesale cost, passed through at cost, plus our fixed markup — itemized on every statement. No posted card price, no customer-facing fee.

The markup never moves. Not with volume, not with card type, not at renewal. Interchange is what it is; our half is fixed and printed.

What about American Express?

Included, same card price. Card-brand rules require American Express to be treated no worse than any other card — so the rate you picked above is the posted card price for Amex, Visa, Mastercard and Discover alike. Your customers never see a different number by brand.

No separate signup. Amex runs through the OptBlue program on the same terminal, the same statement and the same deposit as everything else — available for businesses under $1M a year in Amex volume, which covers nearly every local merchant.

The honest part. Amex costs slightly more behind the scenes than Visa or Mastercard, and keyed or online Amex slightly more again. That difference shows up in the written program math we send you before you sign — never in your customer’s price.

Selling online? E‑commerce is covered.

Online and keyed cards cost more to process than tapped ones — that’s why the lower tiers above are in‑person only. Online, four rails carry the load:

  • 4.25% flat online — true dual pricing at your checkout: the gateway reads the card as it’s entered and prices it automatically, with the disclosure built into checkout and receipts. A quarter‑point above the counter rate because online cards cost more to process — and still at or below what flat‑rate processors really charge at typical tickets. Never a fee line bolted on.
  • Interchange + 0.50% + 10¢ — traditional pricing with the gateway passed through at cost (gateways run from about $15/mo).
  • 3% credit surcharge — also works online with checkout disclosure; debit stays untouched, as the rules require.
  • ACH / pay by bank: 1% + 25¢, capped at $5. Invoices, B2B and big tickets skip card costs entirely — a $5,000 payment costs five dollars, full stop.

Need the store itself? We build online ordering, e‑commerce and gift card sites in the design studio — one partner for the site and the payments behind it.

Program two

Prefer the surcharge model?

The other compliant way to offset processing — and the one where most programs skip the facts. Here they all are.

  • Credit cards only, paid by the customer. Posted at the door and the register, printed as its own line on the receipt, and never more than the cost of acceptance.
  • Debit and prepaid cards never carry the fee. Federal rule, no exceptions — and it follows the card, not how it’s run: a debit card processed as signature “credit” still can’t be surcharged. The terminal reads the card and exempts it automatically, so your cashier never has to judge.
  • Debit is the only processing you pay: 1.25% + 25¢ per transaction. Credit costs you nothing — the surcharge funds it.
  • Registration and paperwork handled. Card-brand notification, compliant signage and receipt formatting are set up for you at install.
  • One program per location. Surcharge or cash discount — never both. Tell us your card mix and we’ll show which model leaves you more, in writing.
  • Equipment and platform fees pass through at cost. No padded monthly “regulatory” or “security” fees.

Three honest options, one rule: tell us your volume and we’ll show all three in writing before you pick. Program terms summarized from published materials; verify current terms with each provider.

Surcharging is unavailable in a small number of states (currently Connecticut, Massachusetts and Puerto Rico) and must never exceed the cost of acceptance.

Send it now

Cash discount / dual pricing is configured for you to display both a card price and a cash price, with compliant signage and receipts, under card-brand rules and Arizona requirements. Rates shown are program card-price rates, not a quote; final pricing is confirmed in writing and all accounts remain subject to underwriting approval by the processor and sponsoring bank. Restrictions apply.
